This article is a guide for users to show them how to enable Hik-Connect service in Hikvision devices. You need to enable this service in order to view your cameras remotely via P2P and to use the push down notifications feature.

By default the Hik-Connect function is disabled. You can enable it via web browser, directly through the recorder or from the phone app. We recommend to enable it by accessing your recorder via web browser or by doing the settings directly on the recorder.

On the Platform Access tab I have enabled Hik-Connect, created a valid “Verification Code” (6 upper case letters) clicked on Apply and the status should change from “offline” to “online” however it says “offline(0x1007).

How can I solve this without defaulting the NVR

      1) Make sure the NVR is on the network.
      2) Reboot the machine and the router.
      3) I’m writing an article about error “offline(0x1007)”. Will post it shortly.
