Follow this tutorial to learn how to playback the recordings of your Zosi DVR/NVR via the Zosi Smart app. So, if you are using the Zosi Smart app to view your cameras remotely, but don’t know where and how to playback the recording remotely, then this step-by-step guide may help.
Step 1. Login into your Zosi Smart app with your app’s username and password. Make sure to type the information correctly.
Step 2. Click on the “Device” icon (as pictured below). Normally you should see all you cameras on the app.
Step 3. Select the channel you intend to check the recordings, and click “Playback“. After that, all the recording files will show up on the screen.
Step 4. Select the Date and the Time to playback the recorded files. Or you can manually drag the timeline to playback (whatever is more convenient for you).
Step 5. You can record videos and snapshot photos on the playback mode, meaning if you find something interesting (let’s say a break-in) you can take snapshots or record the screen as the recording is playing out.
This way you can quickly forward the clip (or the photos) to a third party (such as the police).
Step 6. You can find the photos and videos in the Media section of the Zosi smart app.
