If you have a Foscam NVR and you’ve forgotten or lost the password, there’s an easy way to reset the password. All you have to do is locate the reset button on the machine and perform a hard reset. After resetting the NVR, the credentials go back to default, username is admin and no password (blank). Follow the steps below to reset a Foscam NVR.
Reset procedure for Foscam NVRs
For FN3004H/FN3104H/FN3109H models
Step 1. Please power on the NVR and find the reset button at the bottom of it. For example Foscam NVR model FN3109H is shown below.
Step 2. Use a pin (or paperclip/toothpick) to press and hold the reset button for 15-30 seconds until you hear a beeping sound coming from the NVR. If you hear the beep, it means that the reset procedure was successful. Login with the default account (admin/no password).
FN3108XE/FN3108E/FN7108E/FN3104W/FN7108HE models
Step 1. Power on the NVR and find the reset button at the back of the recorder.
Step 2. Use a pin to press and hold the reset button for 15 to 30 seconds until you hear a beeping sound coming from the NVR which indicates that the reset was successful. Login with username admin and no password (empty/blank).
