If you lost the password of your Vivotek camera, there’s an easy and fast way to reset it. All the cameras manufactured by Vivotek come with a reset button on the board. All you need to do is locate the reset button, hold it pressed and the camera will reset. The reset will bring the camera to factory defaults and erase all the other settings on the camera (including the username and the password)

How to reset Vivotek camera
Step 1. The reset button on the Vivotek cameras is located on the board of the camera. Open up the camera and locate the button. The pictures below show a few samples.
Step 2. Press the reset button with a paperclip or a thin object. Keep it pressed for 10 seconds and release it. The camera will reboot and will come back with all the settings erased (including the password). Note: some cameras have built-in LEDs, if it’s reset the green LED will be blinking and the red LED will be stable.
Try to access the reset camera with the default account:
