If you lost the password of your Vivotek NVR, there’s an easy way to reset and recover it. Most of the NVRs manufactured by Vivotek come with a reset button on the machine. All you need to do is locate the reset button, hold it pressed and the NVR will reset. The reset will bring the NVR to factory defaults and erase all the other settings on the NVR (including the username and the password).
