For many reasons, a DVR reset may refresh your Zosi DVR and fix any issues you may have been experiencing with this CCTV system. If you can’t figure out certain issues, a factory reset will erase all the settings on the recorder and enable you to start from scratch.
Be careful when doing a factory reset, all the settings, no exception, will be erased and everything will go back to the settings when the recorder came out of the manufacturing line.
We assume that you already know the username and the password of your Zosi DVR. Login into your recorder and follow up the below steps to factory reset your Zosi DVR system.
Please go to Zosi DVR’s Main Menu > Setup > Advanced > and click Reset to reset the DVR settings.
After the reset, the recorder will reboot and when it comes back online, you can create a new password and re-do all your settings.
