Step 1. To begin, open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the Hikvision camera or recorder. Enter the device’s IP address in the browser’s address bar and press Enter.
This should bring up the login page for the device’s configuration menu. Enter your unit’s username and password.
The green boxes or lines that appear on the live view of Hikvision recorders or cameras are typically called motion detection overlays.

Look for an option related to motion detection overlays or visual indicators. The option may be named “Motion Detection Overlay,” “Motion Detection Display,” or “Dynamic Analysis”. Some re-brands may use other words to describe the function.
Disable or turn off the motion detection overlay feature (uncheck the box). Save the changes and exit the configuration menu.
Once you’ve completed these steps, the green boxes or lines should no longer appear on the live view of your Hikvision camera or recorder when motion is detected (shown with the green boxes) or when the rules are triggered (shown as blue lines on the screen).
