Are you wondering what’s the meaning of different color squares that are seen on the live image of a Zosi DVR? The live view icons such as the green square, yellow square, red square and blue square denote various information about your Zosi security system.

Zosi DVR live icons explained

Below is a picture which outlines the different colors and their meanings.
zosi live icons

  • Green square – It indicates the Zosi DVR is set to manual recording or on trigger recording.
  • Yellow square – It indicates the recorder is recording on motion detection and that the motion is occurring. If you’re looking to have motion trigger an event, then you should be all set. If you’d prefer it just to be a constant recording without any motion events, then you can disable motion for the camera through Main Menu > Setup > Alarm > Motion. After this is disabled, the yellow box should turn green.
  • Red – It indicates the alarm recording mode, if you have hooked up an alarm unit on the DVR.
  • Blue square – It indicates timing recording.
